The College of Health Sciences at Alabama State University invites applications for two faculty positions in our NCOPE-accredited master’s degree program in Prosthetics and Orthotics:  a Chair/Program Director position and a position for an Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor.  Located in Montgomery, Alabama, we are the only P&O program in the state and the only such program in a historically Black university.  The College of Health Sciences offers an array of graduate and undergraduate health and rehabilitation programs.  The P&O program houses state-the-art laboratory facilities, and the College of Health Sciences Biomechanics and Motor Control Laboratory is home to the Motek GRAIL system.  Qualified applicants will have a master’s degree from a CAAHEP accredited School, be an American Board Certified Orthotist and/or Prosthetist (ABC), and be eligible for professional licensure in the state of Alabama.  A minimum of two years of experience as a certified clinician is required.
